📚 Plot Summary
The Serpent and the Wings of Night is about a young human girl who is adopted by the Vampire King, and trained to take part in the deadly Kejari trials where the winner gets to make a wish, but she ends up making a deal with a fellow competitor to help her survive the trials.
💭 Thoughts
I flipping loved this book, but it took me a while to read. It's a chonky book, but is a surprisingly easy read. I was really rooting for Oraya (the FMC), and I was so ready for her a Raihn to get it on, but it wasn't what I was expecting.
But the PLOT TWIST! Oh my gosh, I gasped so hard that I choked.
Such a good book and I'll definitely be reading the rest of the books in the series.
